Starting a project with no idea of the investment is a recipe for disaster. Albury Wodonga Website Designer is committed to eliminating bill shock with our transparent pricing, and fixed price project quotes.
Yep. We’ve also been asked this too. We're typically cheaper than the 'everything under one roof' marketing agency because:
We build all of our websites using a Content Management System, also known as a CMS. This allows you - or your team - to make changes to your website content without having to have any sort of coding skills. This also helps alleviate the fear of 'breaking stuff' too.
Depending on your business needs, we will make a recommendation for what will fit your needs best. Most of our clients have websites built on WordPress because it’s a powerful, yet extremely easy to use, platform for our clients to get their mind around with a bit of training.
WordPress can tie in with many other systems and tools as well to give you a full online marketing platform, built by Albury Wodonga Website Designer, for you and your business.
While we love working with local Albury Wodonga businesses we can actually work with local businesses all over Australia.
We are always happy to hop on a conference call, join a video chat, and do some screen sharing throughout the process so that we can work with you; without the need to be in the same room, physically.
We have clients here in Albury Wodonga, of course, but also a few in Darwin, Sydney and some just outside Brisbane too.
We’ll kick things off with our initial conversations over the phone, or via Zoom.
Once we get started, most of the communication will be via email. Keeping much of this stuff in writing keeps everyone on the same page, and we’ll have all of the important information saved so we can come back to it later.
Once we’ve finished building your website, and we're about to launch your site to the world, we will run our training sessions via Zoom so we can get 'face to face', and our share screens.
No. All of our client meetings are done over Zoom or via the phone. It’s rare that we need to meet people face to face. Technology allows us to do so much in a small space of time so we don’t believe face to face meetings are necessary.
Let's both save ourselves the travel time, and the parking hassles, and jump on a call, via Zoom, instead.
We've been working remotely since before COVID brought about the global "work from home" push, and have gotten pretty good at it. So if you'd like to chat with Albury Wodonga Website Designer, you can book directly into our calendar, right here.
We're always happy to meet you in person if you really need us to but we’ll arrange a fee for travel depending on the distance.
It depends. (Yeah, it really does depend)
A simple website could be ready in just a few weeks. And an extremely complex website may take up to a full year to launch.
Our usual turnaround time is between 1-6 months, depending on our clients' ability to provide content and feedback, plus the overall complexity of the build.
The time line and launch date for your website will be discussed with you during the project planning stage. Once we know a lot more about what you and your business need to succeed online.
If you have a specific launch date in mind, we will be happy to work with you in setting up a timeline to achieve it.
It really depends on what type of site your business needs.
We’ll discuss the specifics before we start working together on your site.
But to give you an idea of the kind of stuff most websites need here's a sample list to get you started
- Logos, colours and style guidelines (likely given to you by your graphic designer when you got your logo created)
- Photos of you and your team
- Photos of your workplace
- Content for the website e.g. text, PDFs etc
- Videos you would like to showcase
- Login details to your existing website (if you already have one; or if we're only making minor edits)
If you're going to be selling courses or programs online, it might be an idea to gather those pieces too:
- Course, Module and Lesson content.
- Videos, Worksheets, Printable Handouts
Some of this might already be on your current website, in which case it can be transferred over to your new site.
Or you can start from scratch if you're business is brand new, or if you're rebranding significantly.
All Albury Wodonga Website Designer built websites are built using best practices and without bloated code, optimising them for search engines like Google and Bing. We also like to keep SEO in focus during the planning of your website.
We'll spend time looking at your current and planned keywords, SEO (search engine optimisation), and PPC (pay per click ad) strategy and seeing where we can improve your rankings. This research drives our SEO strategy, during your build, and beyond.
It depends.
While your site may be optimised for organic SEO, it can take a while for the robots that are crawling your website to see the changes that you’ve made and in turn improve your rankings. Organic SEO can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months - you are at the mercy of search engines around how long this takes.
We have had clients get to the first page for their main keywords within 7-10 days of launching; and we’ve had client websites (built in the same way) take over 6 months for Google to show them on the first page.
There is no guarantee you will ever get to the top spot, #1 of the first page of the search results, for your main keywords, some of your competitors might have huge marketing budgets or have been there for years.
If you really want to improve your rankings to attract more visitors to your site, we'd love to help formulate a plan to give you the best shot of beating your competitors.
A website is more than just the physical appearance on the outside, it is also the site architecture and the technology behind it, both of which may be helping or hurting you in both the Google rankings and visitor experience.
If you’re looking for just content updates that’s one thing, but if your site is not hitting industry benchmarks (like site speed, mobile responsiveness, content architecture, etc.), then it’s a good time to consider your options. Starting with a new website lets you talk about your business as it sits today but also where you’d like to be in the next several years. Modern websites have more functionality available to them to make updating and maintaining your website much easier in the future.
If you already have a website online. That’s great news. This means that we can build your brand new website while your current site is still online. Once we're ready to launch your new website; we can swap the old site for the new one. It can take as little as 10 minutes for the swap to happen. This means you’ll barely even notice a dip in your traffic numbers.
If you only need content changes made, we can help you do that to your existing website. Maybe you need:
- a new page added, to reflect a new service offering you're adding to your business
- your Team page changed to reflect some recent staff changes.
- another Course added to your Membership area.
We'll make those kind of edits, for you, on your existing site. Need something like this done to your site? Get in touch.
You’re in luck. We offer unlimited revisions.
Before we build your new website, we’ll get an idea of the websites you and your clients love, and the websites (or features) you and your clients hate, so we can start with these goal posts in mind.
Throughout the project you'll have lots of opportunity to give us feedback and if you really don’t like your design, it won’t cost you anything to have us change your design before we move forward.
Yes. Your website from Albury Wodonga Website Designer will be fully responsive and will look great on all devices. We don’t charge extra for this. It comes as standard.
Of course. You’re buying a website from us. It’s the least we can do. As long as it’s available for purchase, we’ll buy it for you and include the first year in your project. We’ll send you an annual invoice for the renewal along with the hosting fees.
You will own the domain. We will register the domain in your name and it belongs to you. This means you have ultimate control over it.
Yes. Hosting is like renting an office space for your business on the internet. You’ll need hosting otherwise people won’t be able to see or visit your website.
Hosting costs vary depending on your requirements. Hosting needs usually increase the more website visitors you have. Your hosting costs will be outlined in your fixed price quote, so you'll know ahead of time.
If we build your website, we will usually host it for you and you don’t need to do anything. We include the hosting fee for the first year in your initial project fees and we’ll send you an invoice once a year thereafter.

We use our documents to protect both parties, keep all of your business secrets private, and to set the rules of the game.
You're always welcome to have your legal pros look over anything we ever send over for you to sign.
